About Our Programmes
What is My Child and Me?
My Child and Me is a free 12-week parenting programme designed specifically for Black and Global Majority families. We provide culturally relevant support, resources, and community connections to help parents navigate the challenges of raising children aged 0-11.
Who can join the programmes?
Our programmes are open to parents and caregivers of children aged 0-11. We particularly welcome Black and Global Majority families, though all families are welcome. Participants should be aged 18 or over and able to commit to regular attendance.
How long are the programmes?
Our main programme runs for 12 weeks, with sessions typically lasting 2-3 hours each. We also offer shorter workshops and one-off events throughout the year.
Are the programmes really free?
Yes, all our programmes are completely free to participants. This includes materials, refreshments, and any additional resources provided during the programme.
Getting Started
How do I sign up for a programme?
You can register for programmes through our website by creating an account and enrolling in available programmes. Places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, so we recommend signing up as soon as possible.
What happens after I register?
After registration, you'll receive a confirmation email with programme details, location information, and what to expect. We'll also contact you a few days before the programme starts with any final details.
Can I bring my children to the sessions?
